The 2026 Centerville And Washington Township Great American Community Garage Sale

Dust off those treasures, clear out the garage and get ready for a red-white-and-blue tradition. The City of Centerville and Washington Township are proud to announce The Great American Community Garage Sale. The community-wide event will take place Thursday, April 30 through Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Open exclusively to residents of Centerville and Washington Township, the sale celebrates one of America’s most cherished pastimes. From bargain hunting to neighborly conversations, nothing says America quite like a good ’ole garage sale. This event brings the community together for three days of deals, discoveries and hometown spirit. Residents interested in participating are encouraged to register early by completing the online application at centervilleohio.gov/garagesale. The deadline to register a garage sale is Thursday, April 9. Registration is required to ensure inclusion in the official sale listings. Submissions for addresses outside Centerville and Washington Township will not be accepted and sale listings cannot be modified once submitted. Residents who register by the deadline will receive one complimentary garage sale sign, available for pickup April 13–29 at the Centerville Municipal Building, Washington Township Government Center or the Washington Township RecPlex during normal business hours. Sales will be advertised online, on social media, in area newspapers and shared with local media. By completing the registration form, participants agree to have their address, sale dates and items for sale included in the official online and printed garage sale directory. The directory will be released Monday, April 20, with printed copies available beginning that day at both the Centerville Municipal Building, Washington Township Government Center and the Washington Township RecPlex during regular business hours.
